Greedy's

A friend recommended checking on Greedy’s so we stopped in on Friday night and had a truly wonderful time! The music/DJ was out of this world! I heard songs that I hadn’t heard in years, songs that took me back! They have a great happy hour special on drinks until 9pm which is really cool. The drinks are good too, they don’t short you! The food is out of this world good! I had the catfish, and it quite possibly might have been the best catfish I’ve ever had, it was fried to perfection, seasoned well, and the portion was huge (2 big fillets)! I definitely got my money worth! I would definitely recommend getting here early because they fill up quickly! The service was good, my only issue was that there only appeared to be one server/waitress taking care of the floor area, this wasn’t a problem at first, but as they got busier, she came around less and less, and at much longer intervals, and she begin forgetting to bring drinks out (toward the end of the evening I was waiting like 20 minutes for a drink) towards the end of happy hour it was almost impossible to get a drink so I had to wait till it had ended before I could order again. Nothing that would keep me from coming back (I will definitely be back again), but a few more waiters/waitresses would help. I have to say the security guy at the door patting people down as they come in is super cool! He was personable and he actually walks around from table to table making sure everyone is good! It’s the little things that make a difference. I would absolutely recommend checking out Greedy’s if you are in the area!

The place now seems to be a little rundown.The floors and bar area could use a little bit of cleaning. Most restaurants arw going a staff shortage which has made cleaning not an important issue. This place has so much to offer with a little love and investment.The restrooms are barely clean but they work. Now this is a very nice hangout spot for Happy Hour.The beer selection is limited but there are many cocktail options.The staff is friendly and the owner occasionally shows up for a meet and greet. The food is regular bar fare..but their wings are very popular! There is also a certain ambiance that the regular crowd brings here especially between 4p-8p.It becomes vibey!

I really want this establishment to last! But, they make it so hard to patronize here. Here’s some quick feedback and important feedback —YOUR LADIES RESTROOM IS IN DIRE NEED of a deep cleaning, restoration and attending to. I don’t even feel comfortable eating or drinking at food establishments that would allow things to get that bad. Does staff use this restroom? Is this acceptable to you all? Is there a manager on duty? If so, why are things so mismanaged? Beyond the obvious wait times, inconsistency in service, and bad customer service — the cleanliness of this establishment is very concerning. DO BETTER! So that your customers can support you and spread the positive news about what you are doing. I would be embarrassed to bring anyone here or recommend you guys until you make some serious progress.

Met a group of people around 930 PM on a Wednesday night. Majority of the group ended up leaving due to the extremely long wait for the food (they had been there since 830/845PM). 4 of us decided to stay.. unfortunately. We had to scream at each other just to hear due to the music being so loud. While there, we had to order everything from the bar because the waitresses couldn’t bother to come to our table. 2 of the guys had ordered around 930PM and didn’t get their food until 1030PM. Based off of perception and their opinions, the catfish nuggets were extremely greasy and wings came out bare instead of tossed in sauce (he definitely ordered them tossed). I ordered the wings at 10PM and didn’t get the food until 1050PM. The wings were dry, fries hard. Waste of money all around. They didn’t charge to get in but they do check bags, etc. I asked the group if they read the reviews prior to coming, and they didn’t.. perhaps they should’ve. I won’t be back.

I went to Greedys located on Arlington on a Tuesday and they said their kitchen was not open because they were changing the grease trap. They stated it would take 30 min. No problem and I came back In 45 minutes. Still the kitchen was closed due to the grease change out or whatever. Ok I’m pretty easy going and decided to visit the next day (Wednesday ) at the De Soto location. Upon entering they asked me to open my purse for a security check? That should have come off to me as a red flag since mind you it’s a restaurant and I’m arriving at 6pm. So totally ignored the red flag and thinking I would order food to go and be out in 15-20 minutes. I also should have read the reviews! Damn! Damn! Damn! I entered and it was literally blasting music to the point that I could not hear myself THINK. I went to the bar and tried to flag down a bartender to order food. Well I flagged a gal down and asked if I could order she said yes and had me wait there for about 7 minutes with no acknowledgment. Then a nearby male stranger flagged her down and asked her if she would service me? The gal bartender again nodded yes and nothing happened to the ordering of my order. So I waited another 5 minutes. Then she finally motioned for me to go over to the other side of the bar of where the order line was located. I’m not sure why she didn’t inform me of this from the start! So I finally ordered at 7:30pm. I didn’t get my food till 9:15pm. However this was only because I had to repeatedly remind the bartender of my order and really respectable bystanders that knew how long I had been waiting and probably felt bad for me and inquired about my order on my behalf. The people there were so nice and just overall chill peeps. It was my first time ever frequenting this establishment. I will NEVER come back. I mean NEVER due to the time I waited and the customer service. I tipped the bartender only because I used to be a server/bartender back in the day and my brain will not let me walk away and not tip no matter how bad the service is. A person said Wednesday is the worst day. I didn’t know beforehand and that didn’t matter because I had gone in the day before and service was still for the birds. I can’t believe they have a chain of restaurants. Girl bye!
